Blog Sale part 2!

Ok guys, some more polishes for sale.

With accordance with the new crack down by Royal Mail on sending polishes through the post, please be aware that if you buy more than four polishes the load will have to be split across two packages so there are only four bottles in each package. Postage costs remain the same - £2.20 for second class, £2.80 for first class. I'm afraid I will only send to the UK now.

All polishes are new/used once or twice unless otherwise stated. The Soap and Glory products are full sized, brand new and have not been opened. Please note that the postage for the Soap and Glory products may be higher than £2.80 due to their weight - I will give you a quote for postage of them depending on what other items are purchased.

Prices are negotiable - so don't be afraid to give me an offer!

Either comment on this blog post or send me an email at nataliejpluck@hotmail.co.uk - thanks!

Untried Hunt - #2

Accessorize Aquamarine One Coat Metallic

It's no secret that I love Accessorize's range of nail polish, but it may surprise you that my next untried comes from their metallic collection that I rave about so often!

The trouble with this polish is I picked it up just before I went home for reading week at uni, and so I promptly forgot about it's presence in my stash. It was only the other day when I was going through to pick out some polishes to sell (n.b. - keep your eyes peeled for that post coming up soon to grab some polish bargains, because they really need to go!) that I noticed I hadn't actually opened the bottle yet.

So here it is - Accessorize 'Aquamarine', part of their one coat metallic collection.

Accessorize Aquamarine

It's so... blue! It's a really gorgeous deep aqua colour, and honestly I've never seen a colour as vivid as this before. I'm not a massive blue fan but this is now at the top of my favourite polishes list!

Here's a photo with the flash:
Accessorize Aquamarine

It's not got glitter in it, it's just got a multi-tonal silver base which really emphasizes the shadows when the light hits it. This would be fantastic for stamping over as it really is a beautiful background colour.

Accessorize polishes retail for £4 and can be bought from Accessorize stores and selected Monsoon and Superdrug stores.

Am I glad I bought it? Omg, yes! I'm now just sad that I haven't used it before!
Will I use it again? You bet!
Favourite thing about this polish: It really is a one coat wonder! I put this on last night ten minutes before I had to leave the house and it dried quickly with no smudges or bumps. It has chipped a little bit with some tip wear but that was after a day of lectures and some heavy duty cooking so I'm calling it a win.

Untried Hunt - #1

I have far too many untried polishes! So my mission for 2013 is to post at least one of my untried collections a fortnight. Here's my first untried of the year!
O.P.I. Suzi and the Seven Düsseldorfs (Ger-minis collection)

When I bought the Ger-minis collection, I bought it primarily for 'Don't Pretzel My Button' and the stunning blue 'Unfor-greta-ble'. I originally ignored Suzi because purple-y pinks are really not my thing!

I'm so glad that I actually tried this though, it is stunning. As you can see, it's high shine and it's VERY pink. This took four coats to achieve, which when you've got a small bottle isn't very good - but with a full size one, it wouldn't bother me at all. In fact, the full size one is now firmly entrenched onto my wishlist. The colour is a very nice pinky plum which would compliment pretty much any skin tone I think.

Am I glad I bought it? Yes!
Will I use it again? Definitely.
Favourite thing about this polish: The femininity of it - it's a wonderfully girly polish without being in your face and over the top.
